Sindh EPA Conducts Environmental Monitoring of Brick Kilns at Wango Morr, Tharparkar

Tharparkar, March 13, 2025 – On the directions of Muhammad Sohaib Rajput - Deputy Director (Tech)/IC Regional Office Mirpurkhas A team from Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) District Office Tharparkar, comprising of Chemist - Shahid ur Rehman along with Muhammad Iqbal - Environmental Inspector has initiated environmental monitoring of 15 Brick Kilns located at Wango Morr, district Tharparkar. The inspection aims to assess compliance with environmental regulations, including emissions control, use of efficient fuel, and adherence to the Sindh Environmental Protection Act, 2014.

Brick kilns are a significant source of air pollution, contributing to particulate matter and greenhouse gas emissions. _Legal action will be taken against violators as SEP Act 2014.
