A detailed visit of the team of SEPA Hyderabad Region to implement environmental laws in the construction of a new road from Liaquat Colony Bridge to New Sabzi Mandi.

According to the details, on the special instructions of the Director General of the Environmental Protection Agency Naeem Ahmed Mughal and Regional Incharge of the Environmental Protection Agency Imran Ali Abbasi, SEPA Hyderabad Assistant Director (Technical) Noreen Raza and Environmental Inspector Saleem Rajput visited the under-construction road from Liaquat Colony Bridge to New Sabzi Mandi Road Hyderabad and conducted an environmental assessment of it.

. SEPA Hyderabad issued notices to the Municipal Commissioner and District Administrators for non-implementation of the Environmental Law 2014 in road and development works.

The SEPA team warned the contractor and staff present at the under-construction road site to strictly follow the Environmental Law 2014.
The residents and citizens of the area are facing severe problems due to the dilapidated condition of the road, absence of covers on the potholes, drainage problems and air pollution.
SEPA Hyderabad has sought a detailed report on the construction of the road from the Municipal Commissioner and District Administrator so that the complaints of the residents of the area can be redressed in the light of the SEPA Act 2014.
