SEPA District Office Khairpur visited Brick kilns located at near Ranger check post palh road

In compliance of the directives of Adivisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Environment, Climate Change and Coastal Development Department(ECC&CDD), Dost Muhammad Rahimoon, Secretary for Environment, Climate change and Coastal Development Department, Agha Shahnawaz and Director General, SEPA Naeem Ahmed Mughal regarding monitoring for the control of Air pollution, Sindh EPA District Office Khairpur Mirs team visited brick kilns (without stack/ chimney) near Rohri canal Rangers check post palh Road khairpur and observed biomass Rice Husk as a source of fuel.

Further, on the directives of the SEPA team, the owner of the brick kiln started plantation activity and also in process of erecting a wall of dry reed grass net from the road side for the control of dust/ Particulate Matter.
