The Sindh Environmental Protection Agency Regional Office Hyderabad launched a tree plantation campaign by planting saplings at Shaheed Abdul Aziz Blue Recreation Training Center.
The tree plantation campaign was launched on the special instructions of Director General of Environmental Protection Agency Naeem Ahmed Mughal and Regional Incharge of Environmental Protection Agency Imran Ali Abbasi.
According to the details, various tree plantation programs have been implemented in all the districts of Hyderabad region. The aim of this campaign is to promote tree plantation in the area and also to create awareness among the people of the area that planting trees can naturally reduce the intensity of the increasing heat and also reduce the spreading air pollution. These trees not only make the environment pleasant but also prevent many natural disasters. These trees balance the water reserves in the ground and increase fertility. Fruit trees attract birds to their place, which increases the bio-availability of the area. Keeping this in mind, more than a hundred saplings of Jamun, Neem, Guava and others were planted in the training center. On this occasion, Regional Incharge Imran Ali Abbasi was accompanied by Assistant Director (Technical) Ali Nawaz Bhanbhro, Noreen Raza, Riyaz Ahmed, Assistant Director (Law) Tufeel Abbasi, Chemist Sepa Sanya Irshad, Pirah Sial and Environmental Inspector. Were present.
