In the context of celebrating Environment Week on the Golden Jubilee of World Environment Day

In the context of celebrating Environment Week on the Golden Jubilee of World Environment Day, SEPA Shaheed Benazirabad organized a seminar, awareness rally and sapling planting on environmental awareness at Oil and Gas Development Authority Sinjhoro and Bobi Field.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day, which is celebrated every year on June 5, this year, Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) is celebrating Environment Week under which events have been organized under the leadership of SEPA Regional Incharge Gul Amir Sammanbal to raise environmental awareness at OGDCL’s Sinjhoro and Bobi Oil Fields located in Sanghar District.

According to the details, on the special orders of Minister for Environment, Coastal Development and Climate Change Ismail Rahu, Director General Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) Naeem Ahmed Mughal, Regional Incharge Shaheed Benazirabad Gul Amir Sumbal along with his team is celebrating Environment Day with enthusiasm at Oil and Gas Development Sinjhoro and Bobby Field. In the awareness seminar, the SEPA Regional Incharge informed the participants about the importance of making the environment clean and safe.

Public relays were taken out to inform the public about the benefits of the environment, through which the public was informed that environmental degradation has negative effects on human and animal life, therefore it is important that every individual plays his role in improving the environment.

In addition, Syed Tanveer Hussain and Ashfaq Memon, heads of Oil and Gas Development Fields, while talking to the media on the importance of Environment Day, said that the program organized by the Environmental Protection Agency to raise environmental awareness will help us preserve our environment for our future generations. And by planting a large number of saplings, the message was reiterated that this land is our home and we can protect it.
